Works with any machine that reads PES (Brother, Babylock), DST (Tajima, SWF, Happy, Barudan), JEF (Janome), VP3 (Husqvarna Viking), EXP (Melco), or U01 (Barudan). That covers most home and commercial machines.
Embrowser works best on desktops and laptops with a modern browser. Tablets with larger screens (like iPad) can work for viewing and simple edits, but the drawing tools are designed for mouse/trackpad input. Phones are too small for the editor.
Yes, Embrowser runs in your browser and needs an internet connection. Your designs save locally as you work (so you won't lose progress if your connection drops briefly), but you need to be online to open the app, generate stitch fills, and push saves to the cloud.
Choose the format that matches your machine brand. Brother/Babylock = PES, Tajima = DST, Janome = JEF, Husqvarna Viking = VP3, Melco = EXP, Barudan = U01. If you're not sure, PES and DST are the most widely supported.
Yes. Embrowser includes built-in embroidery fonts. Add text, choose a font, adjust letter spacing, and even bend text along curved paths for monograms and arched names.
Yes. All plans can be canceled at any time. You'll continue to have access until the end of your billing period.

The Free plan is available forever with no credit card required. You can create up to 10 saved designs and use the core digitizing tools: tatami and satin fills plus advanced fills (gradient, motif, cross stitch, and more), all free within a fair-use limit (advanced fills have a tighter cap), pro tools (auto-route, warp, rounded corners, auto start/stop), and free machine-file export, to see if Embrowser is right for you.
Payments for Embrowser subscriptions are non-refundable.

These limits are very generous - most embroidery designs are under 5 MB. Complex designs with high-resolution images may be larger.
If you try to save a design that exceeds your plan's file size limit, you'll see an error message:
"This file is too large for your plan (Free: 25MB limit).
Upgrade for larger uploads."
